OBITUARY

Mrs. Thelma Litton Elam, 94, of Morehead, passed away Wednesday morning, December 23, 2020 at the Ridgeway Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Owingsville.

She was born on February 17, 1926 in Rowan County, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Boyd C. and Ina Click Litton.

Mrs. Elam was retired from Peoples Bank of Morehead, where she had served as Senior Vice President.  She began working there at the age of 18, starting out as a teller.

Sorry to hear of the passing of Thelma. My Grandmother Ferne Pennington counted her as one of her best friends. She was an amazing woman who baked the best cherry pie I ever ate in my life. God bless your family at this difficult time.
