Christopher Noble Hanger, age 39, of Morehead, Kentucky, departed this life on Sunday, May 15, 2022 at the St. Claire Regional Medical Center after a brief illness.
Born May 26, 1982, Chris was the beloved son of the late Sandra Hanger Fulton, and grandson of the late James R. Hanger, Sr. and the late Loretta Hanger.
He is survived by his sister, Rachel Stewart.
Chris was able to bring light to any room; he loved giving hugs and kisses on the cheek and somehow intuitively knew those who needed them the most. He would walk up and ask, “Hug?” and of course you wouldn’t turn down a Chris “Bear-hug” – they were the best!
He loved life! He had the most amazing smile, and he could turn it into the most infectious laugh! When you heard Chris laughing, it always brought a smile to your face! He loved music, singing and dancing! He loved to dance: Florida Georgia Line were one of his favorites that he loved to “Cruise” with.
In addition to his sister, Rachel, Chris is survived by his long time house mate, Aric, his dear friend, Crystal and his loving family of D & S Community Services in Morehead.
Celebration of life services will be conducted at 11:30 A.M. Friday, May 20, 2022 in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead.
Visitation at the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead is after 10:00 A.M. Friday.
