Dessie Fraley Conley, 97, of Flemingsburg, passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at the Fleming County Hospital.
She was born on May 12, 1920 in Elliott County, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Dock and Maggie Wilson Fraley.
Dessie retired from U. S. Shoe, after 26 years. She kept herself busy with sewing, ironing and making chicken and dumplings and she also enjoyed going shopping at Wal-mart.
She was the mother of eleven children and the proud grandmother of twenty-one grandkids, twenty-eight great-grandkids and three great-great grandkids.
Preceding her in death were two daughters, Sheila Kay Conley and Wila Hahn, one son, Kirmy Lane Conley, three grandchildren, Kimberly Ann Sellers, Brenda Winkleman and Norman Winkleman, ten siblings, a daughter-in-law, Sue Conley and three sons-in-law, Jimmy Sellers, ML Cooper and Earl Hahn.
Survivors include eight children, Tony (Rhonda) Conley of Ohio, Connie Doyle, Linda Cooper, Kathy (Edsell) Weaver, Elwood Conley, Pauline Sellers and Gary (Jeannie) Conley all of Fleming County and Cordell (Carolyn) Conley of Mt. Sterling, eighteen grandchildren, twenty-eight great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 9, 2018 in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead with Brother Darry Cooper officiating.
Burial will follow in the Newman Cemetery in Fleming County.
Visitation is after 11:00 AM Tuesday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Stevie Conley, Mike Conley, Ricky Cooper, Bradley Gray, Rodney Marshall and Petey Sellers.
