Delmas Lee Mauk, 61, of Island Fork Road, Morehead, passed away Thursday morning, March 15, 2018 at his home.
He was born on September 30, 1956 in Elliott County, Kentucky, a son of the late Langley Roosevelt Mauk and Catherine Fyffe Mauk.
Delmas was a former construction worker.
He attended the Unity Baptist Church and enjoyed the outdoors.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Margaret Mauk.
Survivors include his wife, Lucille Kay Brickles Mauk, one daughter, Delma Lorene Faye Mauk at home, a step-daughter, Amanda (James) Holbrook of Sandy Hook, one brother, Franklin (Donna) Mauk of Morehead, eight sisters, Betty Hall, Colleen Reed and Delphia (Eugene) Plank all of Morehead, Virgie Marie (Fred) Littleton of Hillsboro, Kentucky, Ida Helms of Flemingsburg, Laura (Charlie) Skaggs and Kathy (Kenneth) Holbrook all of Sandy Hook and Mary Ann Littleton of Olive Hill and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, March 17, 2018 in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead with Brother Dewayne Johnson and Brother Jason Johnson officiating.
Burial will follow in the Mauk Cemetery in Elliott County.
Visitation is after 5:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Franklin Mauk, Shelby Mauk, Shane Mauk, Garrett Collins, Dewayne Slone, James Holbrook, Jerry Stephens, Jason Anderson and Kenneth Holbrook.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jarrod Plank, Ora Sparks, William Erwin and Fred Littleton.
